Lord Buddha Educational & Welfare Trust has set up 51 KidSmart Learning Centres in 51 Primary schools in Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka and Punjab.
The primary objective of the program is to provide high quality learning opportunity to children and teachers through innovative use of technology. Currently 25,000 primary and pre-school children are benefiting through this partnership.
Each of the KidSmart Centres is equipped with 5-8 Young Explorer Units, that includes children friendly computers and furniture along with a printer and a two-hour back-up inverter.
» 250 Young Explorer Units have been donated to 51 KidSmart Centres.
» 51 New KidSmart Lab Rooms (500-600 sq ft each) have been set up in KidSmart Centres.

» A total number of 100 teachers have been trained in the program.
